Thank you dearly for the chance to visit you and your students, I can’t wait to inspire and connect with you all.
Utilising my experience in Health and Social Care, Mindfulness and Nervous System Regulation, Meditation, Yoga, Advocation, and Therapeutic Mental Health Support, I’m here to guide your students along a journey of self-exploration, self-confidence and joy. By using the art of storytelling to learn about themselves and the world around them, together we can teach them that they, too, can transform their lives and become authors.
All author visits will include a reading of your chosen book, writing activities and resources to take home, including mindfulness and mental health tools, a Q&A session, and age appropriate learning which interconnects to the South Yorkshire/Derbyshire syllabus. I’m always open to customising your visits depending on your unique needs!
1.5 Hour, Half Day or Full Day
I’m able to offer author visits for age groups from early years-year 7 and will suitably customise for each age group.
Throughout each visit, I’ll also ensure to share my experience of being an author, tips for becoming an author, rich activities to nurture imagination, teaching the foundation of writing, as well as resources for finding your own unique writing voice and becoming the best storyteller you can be.
Due to the themes of my work revolving around mental health, emotional intelligence and parenting, I will also provide children with suitable activities and tools to try together in class, and to take home to do with their families.
If welcomed, I’d be happy to deliver signed books that are to be pre-ordered. Pre-order forms will be sent out to the teacher to send home with the children before the author visit commences, so if families choose to, they can order a signed book!

With signed copies purchased through the order form provided on booking. (Sent off to parents & teachers). - Includes a simple talk and colouring sheet on mindfulness. - No further educational talks & resources.
